A green wedding at Chateau Elan

They've got to be one of the nicest couples I ever met.
Niquetta chose fresh green and chocolate for her trendy wedding at the prestigious Chateau Elan. At the edge of dusk, she descended the spiraling staircase amongst draping chocolate and green organza fabrics.
She was glorious...simply breathtaking with a Spanish styled off-white gown with an embroidered bodice, embellished with shimmery crystals and pearls, and a lovely skirt of organza ruffles.
She carried a pave green bouquet of ruffled blooms, punctuated by pearl studded, fragrant stephanotis, all surrounded by chocolate colored ostrich feathers, and stems wrapped with chocolate silk ribbons.
The groom wore a creamy white, very contemporary tux, with a satin vest which was accented by green orchids with chocolate centers and a simple tiny plume.
The bridesmaid's wore green dresses boasting chocolate satin sashes and carried white calla lilies with chocolate wraps and chocolate feathers.
The stars begun to twinkle above the chuppah of sheer shimmery green fabrics accented with white hydrangea blooms. The ceremony was lovely.
Chocolate satin chair covers were tied with green sashes and sheer chocolate draping edged with brown crystals added softness to the aisle. About 100 candles added romance to her aisle against the backdrop of the water fountain surrounded by a thousand petals and green votive candles.
The bride and groom departed amongst a border of soft green petals as Mr and Mrs Braggs.
I am sure the photographers of www.orpheusandaphrodite.com will do much more justice to the romantic decor. There staff was incredibly easy to work with and so very pleasant. The DJ also of www.orpheusandaphrodite.com was really good too.
Got lucky and earned the opportunity to hear their band at an event on Wednesday. Absolutely talented.
Anyway, once we get more pictures from the photographers we will post some of the centerpieces from the reception which included lots of green balls.....balls perched on Manzanita trees, balls atop glass trumpets and green ball topiaries....all amongst flowing chocolate fabrics and myriads of twinkle lights.
Stay tuned for more......
